I hope somebody can offer some advice.
I have recently added 2 platys to 1 other that has been in a new tank for about 3-4 weeks. (all males) At the start there seemed to be a bit of aggressive behaviour from the 'oldest' fish, but after moving items in the tank around they have all seemed to calm down and get on better, until this evening when I noticed two of them 'sort of fighting - barging each other' and one of them has had it's dorsal fin split.
Is this normal behaviour, and is there something I can do about it, and also will the split fin cause a problem - he seems to be swimming around ok.
