I have three lemon tetras which i think are nipping my minnows.
i got rid of 2 marble angels and 2 tiger barbs because of the same problem, but at first the tetras were fine with the minnows.

this has only started l8ly and was just wondering if the tetras were the culprits.

any advice

almost certainly, most tetras are prone to nipping fins on the odd occasion.

What would you recommend orm should i just get rid.
I like the looks of the minnows and want to keep them intact. If i get rid of the tetras will the fins grow back?

Tetras like to be in big groups. At least 5. They could be taking aggression out on innocent fishes.

If you don't want the risk - rehome them.

I think it would be more likely to be the Betta or Shark that is nipping. Have you seen the Lemons do this ? If so, making them a larger group would help.

The shark is a dosile fish and only ever bothers the betta which only bothers the shark, its like a running battle.

Think i will rehome the tetras and maybe the betta too

will be the lemon tetra's.

I had one before and he was a nightmare bout 9 more and they where fine swimming up and down
