After Birth Help!

I don't know how long it would take, thats if she makes it.

i have kept tropical fish for several years and recently decided to try fish breeding and bought a pair of silver sailfin mollies, the female died one morning but did not gte disheartened, i did a water change the same day and found one single fry. i thought id try again and bought another female. she fell pregnant and i moved her to a hatchery as the the other female died in the tank while in delivery i think...

anyway, the new female gave birth to around 25 fry, and seemed exhausted and not swimming correctly so i segregated her for a day so she could re-gain her strength and after 3 days she is still not swimming correctly and cant even swim against the filter. i have to keep her segregated as the male is determined to impregnate her again and chases her round the tank. i have tried treatment for swim bladder and things but things havent improved. Can anyone help with giving me advice it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

eskcarr? stop been a fool, this is the fourth time today you have done this and its pi**ing me off now

well its been a couple of weeks since i asked for advice on this problem and here is how she is progressing. she is still alive, but after a while of isolation and medication didnt seem to be getting anywhere and she was getting very thin, so i decided to let fait take over and release her into the community, to my surprise she seems to be alot better, not 100% mind, but she seems to be putting weight back on, swimming for level and she poo'd for the first time that i noticed since the problem started. still a bit doubtful she will ever make a full recovery or even if she will live, thanks to everyone that gave advice.

Did she loss weight due to not eating.
What colour was the poo, sorry sounds gross but the colour helps out.

a dunno, i was feeding her and the food was gone in the morning, dunno if the other fish were eating it thru the netting or what but she just seemed to be getting thiner, and her shape was worrying me, she had like a bump on her back and if you looked from above she seemed to be in a slight s shape so i thought something was wrong with her spine but that looks like its cleared weirdly enough. the poo looked normal to me, really dark brown and stringy

Being thin with bent spines can be old age, fish tb, to internal parasites.
I would just keep a close eye on her for now.
Good luck.

could she really be that old? i only got her at the end of febuary/start of march. anyway that looks like its clearing up, she looks more like a molly now

Thats good new then bless her.
How many times as she given birth as that can take it toll.

Ok that good.
