after a pland guide that will give plant sizes, origins etc can anyone hlp? also after a place to get Glossostigma elatinoides

Baensch Aquarium Atlas, freshwater edition, has pretty good info on plants in volume 1. It has plants in vol2 & 3 but #1 has most of the common plants.
