African tank and Brackish?

First of all what are the differences with BW And FW
Same with African tanks?
And are BW fish okay in a FW enviroment?

Brakish water has a salt content smaller than SW but more than FW, some fish can live in both enviroments but most won't.

If by African you mean African Rift Lake, then this is not brackish water, it is freshwater that is more alkaline then typical tropical water. It tends to contain higher mineral and salt content then most fresh water, but is not even close to brackish conditions.
