African Cichlids With Catfish?

Alright, so a while ago I picked up two catfish for $15, they were called African Clown Catfish, I read on the interenet that they can be mixed, is this true?

Is it synodontis decorus by any chance? If so, then it can absolutely be mixed with mbuna, great catfish, wish I could find some locally.
