African Cichlid Stocking Question?

Looks like I posted this question in the wrong section >.< I'm new here.


I already have a 60gallon tank with 2 oscars but I'm really interested in starting an African cichlid tank. I really want to make sure I'm not overstocking so I thought I'd check here first.

How many yellow labs, cobalt blues, or bumblebees could I have in a 32 gallon tank?

what are the dimensions of the tank? thats on of the most important parts when stocking african cichlids. I would go ahead a scrap the bumble bee from the list due to size, aggression, and number of females needed.

Turns out it's a 36 gallon. Anyways, it's a bowfront tank with measurements 30x15x21.
Yeah after more research I agree with you about the bumblebee

with only a 30 inch tank youre pretty much limited to a small group of labs, 1m/3f or a small group of one of the other dwarf species..

Kribs is probably all a tank that size would be any good for I`m afraid. Either that or a few Tanganyikans perhaps
