African Butterfly Fish

Just wondering if Butterfly fish will feel just as safe with fake plants that float rather than live ones?

yes mate you can use fake plant's,two of my tank's have fake plant's,one being crammed full off plastic
I have one tank with real plant's, but iam awful with real,so fake's are a god send
Thing with butterfly fish they need lot's of open surface space so remember this when decorating tank

thanks a lot mate...just wondering also how do they go with a bit of travel....nearest city I can buy one is 5 hours drive away...i've heard they struggle when it comes to environmental fluctuations?? Is there any way to minimise this?

use the trickle technique when acllimitizing them is the only thing you can do . 5 hours is along way to drive for one.
