I fed small krill and live crickets.
If you offer crickets prepare to hear crickets in your house.
You may need to disable them.
If you try something like frozen blood worms use tweezers to keep your offering t surface near the fish.
This way you can see if it eats and not waste food.
Tweezers for the crickets worked also for me.
