Well they don't get too big and aren't very agressive (as compared to most other cichlids)

They are nearly impossible to sex without venting.

They are not aggressive, but will stand up to other cichlids.

They reach about 3". The are omnivores and prefer ph 6.8 - 7.4.

What size tank, what other tankmates?
