tank: rio 125l

So have ordered my 2 spotted climbing perch and am going to use these as the main feature of my tank.

The tank will be dosed with DIY co2 and with ferts daily and weekly.

Im going to use the plants i have already in there, such as vallis, anubias, water lilies, frogbit, java fern as well as two amazon swords (i know they are not african)

also have 2 large bits of bogwood, but have order another 2 bits and also a taller root like piece...these will be on either side of the tank which will form an open space in the middle for open shoaling etc...

other fish im thinking of going in there are

congo tetra 6-8 (worrried about size as they grow to 3") will they be ok??
red-eyed tetra 6-8

or any other shoaling fish that reaches approx 3" so out of my perch's mouth! will look at larger tetras such as bleeding heart tetra. any other ideas for 3" shoaling fish?
also considering a featherfin syno as well...to accompny my adult BN...is this ok?

cheers

anu other suggestions for stocking an african biotope 125l tank are welcome.....remember it will have 2 spotted climbing perch and approx6-8 medium sized tetra's/or other shoaling fish
