Aeriation Using A Spray Bar

I am moving over to an external filter on my 200l tank. I currently have a fluval 4 plus and a fluval 3 plus in the tank and aeration is via the venturi on both pumps. My new filter is a Fluval 305. As the outlet doesn't have a venturi effect I have bought a spray bar but I'm not sure where and how I should position it.

I know that it's the movement of the surface water that increases oxygenation but is it enough that the spray bar points towards the surface and creates a ripple effect or does it have to splash on the water to create bubbles to be effective. I don't want an air pump because they are too noisy, so I also am not really keen on having the sound of running water either. Does anyone use a spray bar who can tell me what to do? Pictures would be great. The tank is 30 degress so need good oxygenation.

the ripples on the waters surface will be fine. keep the spraybar just under the surface of the water pointed at a slight upward angle. the surface break (ripples) will aerate the water just fine

It is probably enough even if it does not point toward the surface. As long as the surface water is moving and not allowed to stagnate, the maximum saturation value of oxygen will exist in the tank's water. The bubbles are for people who do not realize that. I leave the air eductor off of my filters because I find them too noisy.
