Hi All

Well up to now my 2 Micky Mouse Tetra have survivied the first week. I wonder if someone can tell me how to make my fish tank water clearer. WE have done a 25% water change on Saterday, but it is still a bit cloudy. WE check the water every day got the emonia under control now and the PH, but water is still cloudy. What can we do next? Also the fish tank is now 11 days old, Micky's have been in for 7 days, when can we get the next lot of fish? I have read anything from 1 to 4 weeks after your first fish, so not sure which advise to follow, help?

Thanks all

It sounds like you are still cycling the filter, correct?

If that is the case, then what are the exact readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH?

The cloudiness: is it milky or clear? What colour is it?

At 11 days into a fish-in cycle, one would expect to be doing at least 50% water changes every day. Generally, it takes 4-6 weeks for a filter to cycle, often longer if doing a proper fish-in cycle (so not trying to murder your fish). So if you are at day 11 now, expect to wait another 3-4 weeks if you do not want to harm your pets.
