Hi everyone

I have got a rainbow threadfin that is sitting at the bottom of the tank quivering all other fish are ok and water readings are good any ideas whats going on

Can you post the exact numbers from your tests please? How many fish are in the tank and how big is it? What's the temperature?

Hi

0 PPM Ammonia
0 PPM Nitrite
40 PPM Nitrate

Temp is 25 Degrees

60 Lt Tank with 11 small fish

Hmm, well, your stats are fine...is it a male or female?

Not sure its not swimming around so cant see bottom fin if your thinking that its a female and its having babies it does not seem to be swollen at all

the aquarist will see a lot of this fish. They love to swim around and males love to display their intense colors, unless you have boisterous specimens or too small a tank. It is fine to keep multiple males in a tank because their "fighting" is mostly just a lot of fin flicking.

As its only in a 60L tank, this could be the problem you are facing.
