Advise On Treating A Fungus Spot

h :crazy: i one of my clown loaches has got a white spot on its head.one spot only! i do not belive its white spot diesease.ive seen white spot before and this one spot is bigger.there are no others and havent been for three days.think it is a spot of fungus.
how do i treat it??? what are my chances of success?
 
Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.
Spots on the head are usually columnaris, is it a greyish white colour, any red tinging in the spot.

two keyhole cichlids
three clowns(young)
two guppys

ph 6.5
nitrate 10
nitrite 0
no red on spot
 
gota say i would still be inclined to follow wilders advice. even though your fish is not acting up. i've been her a while. i have learned to listen to wilders advice.

ok so im thinking wilder you know your stuff and i need to act.what would you treat with? i do have some waterlife myxazin (broad spectrum bactericide) any good?
 
Columnaris spots are not always easy to get rid of.
Myxazin and pimafix.
