Im not sure how many litres my tank is. I have attached a photo below. Currently I have:

5 neon tetra
2 platys
5 Mollies
1 tiger barb
1 loach

15 in total.

Would you advise the tank is full or can I add more?

Looks to be a Fluval Osaka tank, but without knowing the dimensions, we wouldnt know which one, size wise. Could be the 240.

All the fish you have in your tank should be in larger groups, so i would use up the stocking allowance here before looking to ad anything else.

Neons - 8-10+ Is better.
Tiger Barbs - 6+ minimum, 20+ to curb aggression.
Loach - What type of loach? Should likely be in a group of 4-6+ whatever it is, and if its a Clown loach, it needs to go im afraid. It'll outgrow the tank.

I woyuld recommend losing the Tiger Barb altogether. The group numbers required to stop aggression is huge. Im now at 24 in total, and they still fight. Not a problem for me as they dont have many tank mates to upset, and those that are in there too, are just as aggressive themsevles.

My water is fine. Took it to Dobbies and Pets at home who both did tests. Tank has been running appox 8 weeks. I have done a water change in the last hour, maybe thats why it look cloudy

That's a Chinese algae eater and it will grow enormous and very aggressive. Give it a google.

Measure the tanks width, depth and height and enter the details into the calculator at the top of the page of this site, it will give you the capacity.

I agree, remove the single tiger barb, and the loach may be small now but it will eventually more than likely become a nightmare. And at least double the number of neons.

Did you cycle your tank and do you have your OWN water testing kit?

I think you're pushing it a bit, especially with 5 mollies, they do get quite chunky and are pretty active.

I personally would take out the loach, barb and 2 or 3 mollies, and double the neons.

I asked if you cycled the tank and whether you have your own water testing kit, did you see that?

Running the tank for a little while with no fish in is not cycling a tank so if you don't know what I mean by that, you probably haven't done it.

looks like an Aqua One 54 litre tank, certainly need to consider your stocking. Try googling all the fish and reading up on how they shoul be kept. Seriosuly Fish have excellent profiles for tropical fish, worth a visit to read up on them all. 1 Tiger barb for example is a poor choice for many reasons. As others have said, read up on cycling, its not a case of just leaving the filter running for weeks on end, doing that will not create "friendly" bacteria in the filter, for bacteria to thrive, it needs a food source. gluck.

Pet stores will always say your water is 'fine', but there is a massive difference between 'fine' and what it should be... i advise you to get a water test kit for yourself (API master test kit is widely recommended, £20-25 on Ebay), do a COMPLETE set of water tests and post the result up on here.

PS- be prepared to do daily (if not twice daily) water changes of upto 80%+ in the very near future to keep your fish alive.
