i have aq 75gallon tank with fake plants and some drift wood. i was wondering what a good group of fish would be. id also like them to look lke they belong in the tank .. it reminds me of local ponds and rivers any advice is welcome .. there are currently 2 plecos in the tank keepin it clean

What sort of plecos do you have? If you have sailfins or commons, you may be able to get away with keeping them in a 75 gallon but personally I find it to be too small for one, let alone two. They're also heavy polluters and definitely wouldn't be keeping the tank clean once they've grown a bit.

Are you looking for small schooling fish? A large group of rasboras, tetras, barbs or danios would do nicely in your tank, there are many species to choose from. You could also keep a trio of gouramis, a group of either small loaches or corydoras, livebearers, or possibly even an oddball tank. You may also want to look into doing a biotype tank, though that would involve sorting out plant species and decor as well as fish species.

i have common plecos and 1 of thems leaving to go to my gmas. wat about chichlids. would they work in my tank? i think they r cool. id like a group of fish that dont get bigger than 5 or so inches

Cichlids would work, but there are all sorts of cichlids so you'll have to sort out which kind you're interested in. There aren't many other fish that are easily kept with them and some species have very specific needs. I'd check out the cichlid sections of the forums and research specific species once you get an idea of the sorts of fish you like.
