For a christmas present, my mum bought my father two ghost koi, out pond is large enough, but they are too small and thin (from the LFS..) to go in the pond right now. Currently, they're in a 95 litre tank with 1300L/H of flow (Fluval U3 and a Fluval 3+). The water is changed every other day and the tank is kept clean of any waste food or fishy lttle treats. There is no gravel, but there are ceramic rings dotted around the floor with sprigs of elodea (aerating weed) in them. The 3+ has the the air port open and set to maximum flow. The tank temperature is 14 Degrees and the ammonia and nitrite is trace

Is there anything else i should be doing or any advice you can give me, it's been a long time since i've coldwatered and i've never looked after Koi in particular (i used to have a hospital tank for the pond, which doubled up as a fry tank)

Many thanks
