Hi All,

Well i'm half way through my fishless cycle so far, all is going great but i'm a little concerned about 2 things.

I've made a video on youtube which I've included in this post.

I wanna make sure my tank has enough movement at the top, by looking at my video would you say it's fine?
and if you watch when I zoom in on the video theres alot of tiny air bubbles storing at the top end of the tank, is this a problem? or am I just over reacting?

I'm new to fish keeping & want to make sure i'm doing everything correct :D

Thank you!

plenty of movement there, looks like just air bubbles collecting, no big deal. id say you could even turn it down a bit if you wanted less bubbles, depends how much it iritates you. you might decide to change it when you put fish in, as you may need to find a flow that suits your particular fish. up until today i had an extra powerhead flowing in my tank across the front - all my fish decided they didnt like it and went to the back of the tank, now ive turned it off theyve come out again. so for now it doesnt matter so much, but you may have to adapt it to keep your fish happy.

Looking fine cloudy, are you at stage 2(nitrIte spike)of your cycle?

Keith.
