aron, your probably right, i have no idea on these things, when the lights have been off over night ill have a look at the tubes, not promising i can get the info tho as its caked in that nasty stuff

also i have some more question regarding a 2nd hand juwel tank that i got tonight for my shrimp, its approx 43 cm`s wide ( 84 itres n total) and its got a T8 15 watt tube, just the one, hae transfered my plants in ther that were growing beautifully in a 28l with 11watt lighting.. so just before i mess my plants up would like to know if this is going to work
plants in there are
cambomba
java moss and fern
amazon frogbit
( and an unidentified that seems to grow like a weed)

if i havent covered the relavant questions, just ask away and ill do my best to tell you what you need to help :)

they should all be fine in the new tank, the cabomba may struggle or become a bit messy so take a cutting and see how it goes, unless you are not having the 28l running anymore.

Just thought id let you know... Cabomba is annoying, ive just replated my tank after changing to sand and i decided to leave the cabomba as it breaks off and youll spend a lot of time getting annoying little bits of cabomba out...

Seriously, it gets everywhere. Especially if you knock it while hovering.
