The tank is a Fluval Roma 125l (27.5 Uk Gallons) with 2 x 20W bulbs (the ones that are original to it)

I don't inject Co2...and don't want to start.

I put root tabs in when I first set up the tank a few weeks ago but looking at the growth I've had, I think the plants need something better.
Growth has been very fast, but the new shoots just aren't as thick and healthy as the rest of the plant.
Also I've had a litte bit of algae growth on them.

Could someone reccommend a good all in one fertiliser to use, including carbon. Or the best two that I should use, Ie. One as a source of carbon and One as a source of other nutrients.
Thanks.

Ah ha!
I knew I'd seen a good site for this kind of stuff. Thanks for pointing me back too it. I may well get those fertilisers, thanks.

Edit: Did you mean Tropica Plant Nutrition+ ? If so I was just reading it's description and it only seems to supply nitrogen and phosphorus...no trace elements?

yes tpn+ is that, it includes everything, including trace

By the way, Easy Carbo vs Flourish Excel?
I know you mentioned Easy Carbo, I was just wanting your opinion, I'm new to this whole fertilising idea.
My tank is alot more planted than it ever was...so the fish used to do it for me. lol.

AQUAESSENTIALS released their own carbon a few days ago, and its cheaper.

I would go easy carbo ;)
