I'm getting ready to upgrade from a 5.5 gallon to a 10 gallon tank and would like some advice on the number of occupants. My current tank has 3 male fancy guppies and 1 cory cat. I'd like to add more of both fish and also maybe a honey gourami and some ghost shrimp. Any advice on the numbers of each? I cetaintly want a happy and healthy community. Also, in adding more cories, to make them happy together do I need to stick to the same kind or will they be happy with a variation of kinds? Thanks in advance!!

a few more guppies will be good, probably 2/3?
the cory would be better with others the same, do you know what type yours is?

get another 2 cories (same kind) as they thrive better in pairs or trios. another 2 or 3 guppies a pair of gouramis the best ones to get are the red tailed yellow honey gourami (my fave), or any of the dwarf varieties but try and get a pair as they thrive in pairs and as for shrimp they count as nothing on your bio load so get 3 yomatos or japonica ithink there the smae thing or cherries.
