we have a 120lt tank that has been set up for 6 months, we have 9 neons,3 clown loaches and 2 gouramis.

ove the past few weeks the colour of the water has cheanged orangy and we are not sure why. can any one help please

do you have wood in your tank?

those 3 clown loaches can get to about 12 inches+ you will need to rehome them when they get to about 6 inches

yes we have a small piece of wood in there.

the clown loaches when they get to big are going in my mums tank

the would will be leaching tannins into your tank...totally harmless and will fade with time

The wood is leaching tannins into the water but it should not keep getting darker. Are you doing regular water changes on the tank? I would expect the water changes to keep the color from shifting very much.

we are doing 25% changes every 2 weeks

hopefully it will fade in time

i would recomend 25% every week just to keep good water stats
