Im thinking about moving that plant thats in the front, I may just take it out all together, its about 2 feet long...
Oh and you'll probably notice the snail has some battle wounds on his shell, I used to have a couple of crayfish in there and they did a number on him...(had to get rid of them, they got too big for the tank, plus i wanted more fish)
Also on the 3rd pick you can see one of my eels poking his head out! :D

you need a back ground. i reckon a single colour would suit it best. black most probably.
the plant at the front you should trim or replace with a smaller growing plant.
the right hand side looks abit bare, why not have a nice amazon sword in the back corner? or replace the cobamba (or whatever it is) on the other side with one? or both?
all in all, i think the tank looks brilliant how it is.
i love the wood.
i would be more concerned about the stocking tbh.
how many tigers do you have in there?

I have 5 tigers in there, since they school together so much i dont think its a problem, but your right, adding any new fish would be a bad idea. Guess I'll have to buy a new tank! :fish:
and I hadnt thought about an amazon sword, that would look good! I'll look into that and a black background tommorow

btw, heres the fish in here (in case you missed my signature :p :
2x Algae Eater
5x Tiger Barb
2x Peacock Eel
2x African Dwarf Frog

thanks for the advice!

Your frogs look really skinny!! what do you feed them on?

Thanks everyone!

The pics of the frogs are older, they definetly gained some weight since then, they do get some flakes, which prolly isnt the best for em, but they also get blood worms, both frozen and freeze dried that the barbs and eels dont get.

As for the algae eaters im not sure exactly what they are, they were sold as just "algae eaters", they dart around alot, very active little guys. heres a good macro pic, that should help

so its chinese algae eaters you have.
they get more aggressive as they grow, just so ya kno but you should be alright for a while.
lol i didn't mean to say you should get a new tank! you could have a centre piece fish of your choice but, because you have tiger barbs, be careful not to go for long fins. i'm sure you'll already kno but just incase ya didnt :good:

Yep, I researched them before i got em. :good: and I'll prolly leave it how it is, I'm not sure what else I would add to it anyway.

You could also tryingfeeding your frogs some Frog and tadpole bits. They are pellets. I feed them to mine and they love them!

I would also fill the tank up with water why is the water so low???

Also the frogs need to be hand fed bloodworm otherwise they will not get any.

it looks a nice tank. i would probally add a few more plants, and a back ground. but i love your decor wood thing, its so ace.
also, you need to0 target feed your frogs, blood worms are a good staple diet i find, but feeding daphina, brine shrimp and glass worms does them good, frog pellets are also fine. use a turkey baster to drop bloodworms and other foods infront of the frogs is a good way many people find sucessful.
also, the algae eaters you have are sucking loaches i think, the chinese algea eater unless im wrong is golden/yellow color and grows big and aggressive, from what ive seen, the algea eaters you have are just the common sucking loach, maybe known as the simese algea eater, which grows big, but i dont think gets as aggressive, but i may be wrong.
would it be possable to get a picture of the eels, i would like to see how they look.
good tank so far, just a little work needed to make it much better :good:

that is defo a CAE gold ones are just a colour variation, just beware and watch out for the aggression to start as they are known for taking eyes out
