Advice Before Buying Plants

Hi,
I posted a while ago regarding a Co2 System ..Still have not got one but hopefully this.. week will do so (Probably JBL M602)...Tank is a 125 jewul with 2x 28 watt T5 tubes with reflectors... At the moment have only fake plants, however dead keen to have a shot at real plants..My problem is not really knowing what plants to get...(Im bound to select plants that are for the more advanced person) So hopefully as a new plant grower.. you can advise me.. Looking for 3 rear plants 3 centre plants and 3 foreground..The more i look at plants the more confused i get lol...Should add tank have fish (5 Zebras..8 Harlequins,6 Endlers and 3 albino catfish (All little guys).... I read on here that a 10x water turnover is advised so correct me if im wrong please Should i buy a powerhead,as well (If so what size and make).. as the jewel filter does not have a great flow rate...its supposed to be 600 litres a hour but doubt its anywhere near that ?...Water Ph is 7.9... The one thing I will say and recomend is Hygro! You cant go wrong with it, it grows liek a weed, and when it gets tall enough you just cut the shoot replant it and a new plant grows again! It's the one plant I could not kill and I trully was HORID at live plants to start!

tbh most shop bought co2 sets seem like a massive rip off!
you could get a regulator/solenoid about £50
a Fire extinguisher £20ish (for 4X as much co2)
bubble counter, drop checker, defuser, tubing off ebay for a few quid each!

check out the "tropica" site, you can view the catalogue online and it gives you a "rating" of what's easy and description etc!

the 10 times flow thing becomes more critical as the lighting increases i believe. as the plants grow faster, obviously the nutient/co2 uptake increases, the flow aids the distribution of these. in a lightly planted lower light tank i dont think its as important!
