"adult Size Fish"

How long does it take for a fish to get full grown -meaning -reach it's full adult size? Does it depend on the fish species? I have had platies, zebra danios and corycats since April/May and was wondering how much more they will grow? Having no idea of the age of the fish when attaining them, I am just wondering when to expect them to have reached their final size. Thanks for any help you can give me!
