Fish Fanatic
Hi,
I have had my 240 ltr tank up and running for awhile now and the trickle filter does 1000 ltrs p/h,the thing is though I do not expect crystal clear water,I still have a certain amount of muck floating around in the tank.
Tank is stocked with 9 rummy nose Tetras,5 Neons,5 bronze corydoras and 10 cherry shrimp.I will more than likely increase the stock at a later date.
Tank is planted, driftwood, rocks and sand substrate and 1500 ltr p/h wave maker.
I was thinking of adding a smallish volume internal filter to see if it would assist my main one in clearing some of the bits floating around in the tank, its just general muck where the fish may rummage around and disturb the bottom where I can not get in to clean.
Would this help in any way,I was thinking of maybe something like 500 ltrs p/h as I already have the wave maker circulating the water I did not want to push to much water around with a large filter.
Tank dimension are 47cm deep,98cm long and 70cm high.
Thank you.
