Adding Some More Fish

hi guys, my tank has been set up since about january after i got rid of my malawis! i have been stocking slowly and currently, i have:

1 golfish (2inch)
3 albino corys (1inch)
2 pepp corys (1inch)
1 common plec (2inch)
3 silver sharks (2inch)
1 dwarf gourami (1.5inch)

i am rehoming my goldfish in my works tank on friday, so that leavesonly a few fish! i was just wonderin what else i can put in my tank! maybe some mollies, angels or GBR?! what do you think guys?!

What size is your tank? Can't really advise until we know how much swimming room u have :unsure:

correct! 200L! and i have:

6 corys (1inch)
3 silver sharks (2inch)
1 common plec (2inch)
and 1 dwarf gourami (1.5inch)

as said b4, if any of these fish groow too big, my gran had a huggggeeee tank and will buy them off me! work also has a juwel rio 240 as a back up! so stocking ideas guys! thnkx!

Your common plec and silver sharks will have to go i think and how big is your nans tank and whats it's stocking?

If you give her those fish (which get huge!) and her tank isn't big enough or her fish arnt compatible then it will just give her problems.

home made tank ... bloody huggggeee! she got 2 parrots, 1 common plec and about 5 angels! any ideas of stocking plz!

I think silver sharks need a species tank, but i'm not sure.

Anyone else got any info on them?

And you should really ask her how big it is and what filteration she is using.

I wouldn't add anything else untill you can find out all you can about the fish you already have.

i kno my silver sharks need a tank of about 300L and a common plec a bout 200L so once grow too big, she will have them! the corys + honey gourami are fine in my tank tho! im just wonderi what else would you put in with these fish?! thanks!

any my grans tank is more than double the size of my tank! i think she said its something like just over 500L

What sort of fish were you looking for?

Large?

small?

shoaling?

Have a look round on the net and see what takes your fancy then ask here to see if it would be ok for your tank. :good:

well i kno angels need a 16"-18" tall tank and mine is smak bang in middle so yipyy tee hee! i was hopsing for fish like angles, mollies and god knows what else?! do u have any favourites?!

I'm a betta girl myself lol so i can't help you there.

I think the angels would eat the mollie fry but if you don't mind that then it seems ok, how many were you thinking of getting?
