Adding salt

Will adding salt to my water effect my plants?

why do you want to add salt to your tank ? i dont think salt will do that much of a damage but im thinking in the levels of very little.

The only reason i think that plants might not tolerate high levels of salt is because of the existence of brackish water plants....

somebody corect me if im wrong

The reason for this is because one of my neons has fungus on it, i will also use some medi after adding alittle salt.
