Adding Salt For Guppies...

At the moment I have Zebra Danios. I plan on adding a few guppies, neons, ghost shrimp, maybe cherry barb and who knows (my mind changes week by week)

I've read that guppies should have salt added to the water but am thinking that the zebras would be less happy with this, right?

guppies don't need salt. They do better in tanks with hard water so you can increase the general hardness to 250-300ppm. Then the guppies will be happy and the other fishes won't be upset by the salt.
