Adding Plastic Trim To Trimless Aquarium

just got a used 2 foot cube made from 8mm glass, looks like it is home made but well made, 4 good braces , strong seams etc. but i want to add plastic trim to the front seams. i have got white plastic angle trim but unsure whether silicon will be ok? will silicon hold it firmly?

Yup. Silicon adheres glass and plastic well
