Hi
i introduced a silver shark into my tank monday the next addition i want to make are some clowns, my lfs at the moment are selling 3 clowns foe £15 i dont want to miss this offer would it be fine to introduce the clowns today so soon after the silver shark.

How big is the silver shark and what type of clowns are you referring to? I hope you're not meaning marine clownfish..

no clown loaches, silver shark 2"

How big's the tank? What other tankmates and how long's it been running for?

I'd wait another couple of weeks before adding clown loaches. They need to be in a group (I think) so it'd be a considerable addition to the tank's bioload to add them so soon after the shark. If you're sure you're going to be buying them, I'd ask the lfs if you can pay for them this weekend and reserve them to pick up next weekend or in a couple of week's time.

this tanks 150x60x60 the tank is well established i had a crayfish in but it decided to sabotage the tank and take the fish with it hes now back in the lfs and im now restocking the tank at the moment i have the silver shark 1 rummy nose 1 zebra danio and 1 silver tip

Okay, you need to increase the numbers of some of your current fish before getting more. All your fish are shoaling fish. Silver sharks need to be in groups as do rummy nose tetras, zebra danios and silver tip tetras, so you need more of all of them.

If the filter's well established, with the shark only being small, you'd probably be okay adding more fish so long as you don't add too many at once. Please sort out the current stock before getting different fish.
