Hi

I am nearing the end of a fishless cycle in my Fluval Roma 90L and I'm hoping to add the following plants in the next few days.

Jungle val
Anubias barteri var. angustifolia
Java moss - Taxiphyllum barbieri
Frog bit
Cryptocyrene.

The lights which came with the aquarium are:

Fluval GLO lighting unit,
One Power-Glo Fluorescent Aquarium Tube 15W 45.72cm (18in) T8
One Aqua-Glo Fluorescent Aquarium Tube 15w 45.72cm (18in) T8

My questions are:

How long will I need my lights on per day for these plants?
Will the plants require any particular care?
I am considering getting one of those blue moonlight strips which I would only have on once in a while. Is this an issue?

Many thanks,

David

the anubias needs the ribzone above the substrate or it will rot

is day 8-12 hours a day, if you get bad algae reduce them

some of them may melt and then regrow so dont worry about it, meltings where they die back

and no clue on moonlight

Providing the moonlight is just a cheap led strip not a powerful bulb it'll be fine.
