Hi I currently have a 25gal/90 L tank with an angel, rainbow shark, bristlenose pleco, 1 opaline gourami, 1 blue gourami. I recently had to return a honey gourami I bought because for some reason it was the only type of gourami that my shark bullied. It doesnt even pay attention to my other gourami's.

I was thinking of buying a Trichogaster trichopterus (gold gourami) or some sort of dwarf gourami. Wondering which one would look best and most importantly wont attract the attention of my shark :/

I'm afraid that you nee to rehome some of your fish before you look to add anymore.

The angel is not suitbale for a 90L tank. If you have a small juvenile now, it will grow a lot bigger and need more room.

A rainbow shark needs a much bigger tank (I think 250L is needed, although 200L might be ok???) and it can get aggressive and very territorial as it grows.

Tbe opaline gourami should also be in a longer tank. These can get to 5-6 inches long and need more swimming space.

Have a chat with your local fish shop and see if they will take them back for you. Then we can help you find some more suitable fish for your 90L tank.

Hi thanks, I'm planning on selling my angel as soon as possible as well as the rainbow shark has been bothersome lately.
