Hey guys,
I currently have a 40gal set up with 4 Yellow Labs and 5L.Hongi,
I was wandering if i could add Labidochromis freibergi? the only info i have gathered so far is that it grows 4inches max, needs aminimum of 30gals and likes a rocky habitat, also bits about feeding etc.
So do you think i could add 5? Or would it be too risky? and if so, is there any other Mbuna i could add or am i fully stocked?

Thanks alot for the time

I think that you stand a pretty good chance of running into aggression problems from the mix of Labs down the road as it is, and adding a third is really pushing it - but these fish are unpredictable and in the end you can try anything, I suppose. You're already aware of the likelyhood of crossbreeding and hopefully are aware enough not to distribute hybrid Africans into the hobby, so that's less of a concern. You sure are a Labidochromis fan!

Hmm, if it's a risk, i probably won't take it and leave the tank as it is, Thanks
And if there is any hybrid fish born in my tank it will be culled immediatly
Why would you want to ruin a mbuna?
And yes, Lab's have grown to be my favorite :p
