Adding Fish

I moved my fish into their new home about 3 weeks ago. They're now in a 180 litre, I just added the media from the old tank to the filter in the new one. I have 3 albino corys and want to add 3 bronze to bring their numbers up. I assume I should quarantine them before introducing them to my tank so how do I go about this? Will I take a third from one of the old Fluval 2 sponges or will it be ok to just take one of the sponges if that makes sense. I also have a molly, 8 platys and 2 pepper corys in there.

Yes a third of the media that is currently in your 180 sounds about right - if you mean adding this to the filter of the quarantine tank. But replace that third with new sponge and for a couple of days dose your 180 with extra dechlorinator, one that neutralises ammonia.
