hi all.

i have a well established discus set up with 9 mixed discus with some cardinal tetras and rummy nose tetras and 3 yo yo loach which have been in the tank for a couple of years.

plain and simple, i was wondering could i put a few clown loach in with the discus.

many thx and hope to hear back soon

Hey buddy how big is your aquarium?

That would mean its 150 us gallons?

So as long as you have no more than 150 inches of solid fish (not including tails etc) then you should be fine...

Am I right in saying that?

Although I have read before a few times that its recommended to keep discus fish in same species tanks...

But seeing as you have mixed species already and I'm assuming no trouble would seem like adding some more wouldn't hurt.

Clown loaches with discus is not a great idea. The clown loaches are very boisterous fish and will drive the discus nuts.

I may have struck lucky with my loach he's very docile

i agree with snazy way to boisterous, i had to get rid of mine, my discus never settled properly
