Adding Extra Fish

i have currently just cycled my new 20 gallong tank, after sand and backing that i have added im treating it as a 15 gallon tank for purpose of number of fish,

i current have

3 ember barbs
3 octicinclus
1 random Glowlight Tetra that is only poor sole out of 6 to survival cycle

my question and yes this is a common one on the forum already is regarding extra fish.

there is definatly going to be 3 more ember barbs added to the tank as the current 3 are not settling as much as i like with the small numbers.

but apart from that i was thinking of getting 3 corydoras and a peckoltia(Leopard), my concern is that with the 3 octicinclus in the tank i am pushing the amount of bottom feeders as such.

Otocinclus are not bottom feeders. Maybe you are referring to siamese algae eaters? I don't know about the pockoltia but I would put in about 5 cories to make it a group.

sorry i should have worded to post better,

i refered to them as bottom feeders more to the fact the do not shoal around top of tank
