Adding Driftwood In Fish Tank

Well I have no idea, it might have been just somewhere to put them or they might have been eating anything off of the wood itself. He has been well into the hobby for many years and i am only repeating what i was told. In all truth i cant see the point in the shrimp.

Lol, I know you're just repeating, sorry if that sounded snobby or anything, but I think it's kind of funny. I think activated carbon works well with removing tannins, as long as it's washed out often.

... Why do you need to keep the PH stable in the bath?
Also, does your wood float? I have some wood that I want in my tank, but it floats. I'm wondering how long it will tank to make it sink.

If the PH drops in the bath, it will probably drops in the tank too :\
I will not add anything in the bath but in the fish tank.

The wood is still floating, I have a slate/rock attached to it to help it sinks.
