I buffer my pH using some coral grit in the filter. Keeps it around 7-7.2

I`ve got some crushed clam shells. aswell as some tuffa rock, and also som chems that harden water so i think that if in 2-3 weeks when the watter settles the ph/hardness does become a problem then i have plenty of scope to sort it out
