Ada Africana

I want to use this as the substrate for my new planted tank but ive read that is dosn't lower the ph, like the Amazonia soil. Is this true as i need the ph lowered for the fish i want to put in?

AS Africana is easier to handle than the other 2 and has a lower organic content promoting slower growth. It doesn't impact the pH that much but it will a bit. Most fish these days really aren't fussed on the pH. Just avoid the extremes.
