Acrylic Tanks

How old is your oldest acrylic tank in use? Has it ever given you any problems? I am trying to decide whether I want a custom 70+ acrylic tank or a standard oceanic glass tank(old school oceanic). I can get these both for the same about the same price. This will be my FOWLR tank in about 6 months.

I am leaning towards glass right now because I know for a fact that the seams wont start leaking out of nowhere like acrylic may in 5 years. Glass also doesnt scratch as easily. Oh yeah, I will most likely be running halides too.

ooooh i bet oldman47 and ludwig venter have some old tanks, be fascinating to hear there replies..i could be wrong tho, be very intersteing all the same
the biorbs are made of acrylic are they not? go hazey over time, but some prefer it to glass

i had one for a few years, although it got scratched up so much i no longer use it
