well this was the second time that my pair of african acei yellow tailed from malawi are having fry the first time the female  had mouth full of eggs but she ate them i would like to know why and now her mouth has a bit fewer eggs than 23/5/2013 and she is i think a bit hurt by the male i know that nether this time i won't have fry but i am going to make a glass to seperate the 2 cichlids next time but can i have some more info. Also on how to care them when they will have fry i also. right now have them in their breeding tank 25 gallons.I also have a 55 gallon with a Green terror and 3 plecos. After the school finish i will buy a female green terror to breed them. Also when i will have fry i will be selling them because i have no room for them until them i would like to have some info on my acei pair

i forgot smth when i had come back from school i saw the pair breeding then the male witch is larger was hunting the female and now the female is hurt i put aquarium salt to make her feel less stresed and to heal her wounds right now i would to change the male or the female because i am worrying i don't want to lose any fish and if i put the male with the green terror the gt will kill the acei because it is large. right now i am watch the aquariums every 1 hour to make sure that i don't lose any fish also today i am going to count the cm of the aquarium to make that glass to separate if needed. tomorow i think i will make this when i will be changing the water.

if you want any photos tell me

Yeah make a divider if you can. Normally you should have a few females to one male so the aggresssion is spread. do you have plenty of rockwork?

well after the examination i will go and buy more rocks now the female ate her eggs and the aggression has a bit stopped in around 5 days there will be no aggression and by the time they will have bred i will the divider ready to separate them after when the eggs hatch i will sell  the fry at around 1-2 cm because i have no room for them. for now the female started feeding right and should i buy 1-2 more females because i don't know if i am overstocking i have 25 gallons with only 2 african become 12 cm and the females a bit less 9-10 so i don't want to overstock and in a bit i will have fry from green terror i will buy a female
