Acei Looking Unwell

Hi,

One of my acei's -- who is currently holding -- is sat in the corner of the bank.. floating just above the sand, sometimes sitting on it, but looking unwell. She has been holding for about two weeks. I haven't yet tested the water stats, because I want to know if it's normal behaviour for a fish that is holding and hasn't eaten for a good while?

Or should she be active? She looks distressed.

Are there lots of hiding places in the tank...Mouth brooders don't eat much, and tend to hide while holding. She may be feeling threatened if she can't get out of sight!

I think you may be right. She's constantly in the corner of the tank but it's not a good hiding place for her. I have a good amount of ocean rock in the tank, but think I might stack in a load more in the next day or so.
