A Useful Note

Hi.
Just thought i'd give you all a little useful tip I found out today, in regards to making scratches or scrapes less noticeable. Sticking an aerator or an air stone behind the direct view of the scratches makes it so less noticeable.
Could be useful if you've just bought a second hand tank

Jeweller's Rouge on a damp cloth works wonders

I didn't have any of that Jeweler's Rough (Its something like Ceramide Oxide IIRC), but T-Cut does the job to a degree too!!!

Obviously using these chemicals is only advised without fish in the tank

Jewelers rouge is a very fine abrasive. It can be used to polish surface defects out of glass as was suggested. The only precaution I would think necessary is to lower the level so you are not trying to use it under water.
