 :-(

This thread is for ICEEGRL.

She has had many losses in the last year or so. Yesterday she buried her Daddy. Late last year she buried an adult son. These are the big ones, but there were more.

ICEEGRL loves pictures. These will be a mix from me of everything from plants to grandkids.

Please do post any pics for ICG just to say :good:

First a Botia straita/zebra loach when I first got them:
(ICG is trying to get some and was sent some wierd Hillstreams)

Just in case you got confused, there is a B. dario/queen loach in the background of both pics.

So sorry to hear about your Father, I noticed you had not been that active here lately, and feared the worst. Prayers go out to you & your family from my family & I.

I haven't had the camera out in a couple of months. For some reason I decided to take it outside for some pictures this morning. This is before I had heard of your loss, and saw this topic. Weird.

Some 150 gallon tub pics. I uncovered it to take pics, and usually cover about 2/3 to retain heat, leave 1/3 uncovered or with a diffuser panel over it for the plants to get some light when it is cooler outside. For some reason I left it uncovered, it's been open for hours. I'll leave it until tonight, it gives your Dad something to look down on.

A few dog pics, I gave him a quick brush yesterday, and thought a couple pics would be nice before he gets scruffy again.

I know, pretty random. Everything but the kitchen sink. How about the basement utility sink;

That sink gets a workout, just like my good computer which smoked the power supply. I could download something of more interest if it was running.

Hope my craptacular photography skills help to brighten the day & ease the pain, some day I may spring for something better than a 2.1mp.

John

I'm so sorry hear about your dad, my mom died three months ago tomorrow, it's tough, but slowly getting easier. Here are some random pics for you.

What genus and species of catfish is that? It's certainly not Corydoras :p

Whatever is latin for fat lazy lump. It's a 10gal tank if that gives you an idea of how big he is.

Peace.

ICEEGRL has been offline today and not answering. I might be there too if it were me. Hopefully her mom and all her family are fine. Her little girl has taken the loss of Grampa badly. I am sure ICG is going to enjoy this when she comes up for air. I know I am. Although some of Tolaks and Cory_Dad's pics are blocked for me. I hope they show at the computer at work. GRRR! Security software! I am pretty sure ICEEGRL won't have that block.

ICG has been taking care of everyone but herself and now she has months of housework, tank maintenence, and Hubby and child care to catch up.

hehe This thread already takes power to download! LOL Keep them coming

dtoffsett: I think ICG would be glad to share her thread. Sory about your Mom.

I'm glad my husband and I got to see Iceegrl today. I didn't really say much; didn't know what to say, but I was glad to see her and her hubby and kids. And of course, I was very glad to delivery some fish stuff to her. We both wish her and her family our deepest condolenses in dealing with such a horrible loss.

Here's pictures for you, Iceegrl.

Of Kiri, our dog.

Sorry, I have no cories, so there's no cory pictures.

Just as I thought. The pics downloaded on my new lap top computer. I need a new desktop!

These are some great pictures! I am enjoying them competely. It is nice to see personals of members. And some of your tanks, fish and pets blow me away.

But I think the horse needs to be right side up to give us the horse laugh, Esfa!

What a sweetie the parrot fish is, Miss Wiggle, and quite the Oscar too. Your corals are lovely. I had no idea.

It is clear that Tolak takes his beauty in the the natural and not his tank decore! LOL

dthofsett, Cory_Dad, Great Pets. Love the jay!

How fortunate that you could go by to see ICG, Wendy. How appropriate the heavenward chapel is.

Simulatus spawned Saturday and the couple have become a trio. One of the youngsters I bought to add to the pair has grown up.

Someone in this tank is spawning little single eggs in the Java moss. So far when I find them most are fungused. I think I got a few last night. There are areo, schulzei blacks, and julii (Stop drinking drano, Frank! It won't help. )

When I saw this all I could do was cry. This so cool. I tried to respond last night, but my computer was not cooperating. I wrote a long thank you to all of you then when I tried to send it my computer kicked me offline and wouldn't let me back on. Now I am going to try a short version...
Only Jollysue knows me well enough to know that this really would work... and it did. It is so touching to know that people care enough to add pics for me. They are all great. I love them all...
I know it is hard to know what to say to a person at a time like this... You have all just said the perfect thing for me... It did/does cheer me up looking at all the pictures. (I do really love looking at pics!)

Thanks again everyone...
Amanda

i'm just glad we could help to cheer you up even in a small way. :)

with people who care for you, you can get through anything.

This thread means so much to me. I just can't find the words to explain...
For me... This is a huge thing, and it is the most personal and touching thing that could have been done for me. It may look like a small thing to some, but for those that really know me... they will know this is not little to me! It is the absolute biggest and best thing possible!
I wish I could find the words to let you all know much each and every picture means to me...
Sometimes it is the "little" things that mean the most... and this is one of those times.

Thanks again
Amanda
