I had to take pictures of these fish for an auction they are being donated. So why not share? :) They are F1 fish.

How big do they grow as adults?  They look amazing!

Stunning patterns! Are they those really expensive ones you were talking about on chat?

Yes, these are the really expensive ones.

Beautiful, beautiful fish though.

I have been keeping zebras for close to 10 years now. I still vividly remember receiving the very first one. I can remember thinking how of all the wonderfully colorful fish I had seen to that point, nothing had struck me as much as that simple crisp black and white coloration did. How could it be that I was more impressed by black and white than a rainbow of colors?

Today, years later, I still get the same feeling every time I look at them. In the world of myriad colorations, these fish still stand way out from the crowd.

Very nice looking L046s you have there! I've got one right now in a tank by itself. Hopefully it's not too lonely. I plan on getting more soon!

eagle- a 4 inch one would be a giant. But they live a really long time. I know a master Hypancistrus breeder who has one 20+ year old male spawning this past year.

5-star, ty- one can never have too many zebras :)  I have been extremely lucky with these fish.

I might have to keep them in mind for the future. Are they reclusive, or do you actually see them in the tank?

That's true.

Liveaquaria.com claims to have some for $500 each.

Woah! That's too much. There are better deals out there especially if you buy several at once.
