Wait a minute. You are BettaBum873. I definitely remember you buying Draco a few weeks ago and asking if he was a VT or DT. BettaBum's pictures are all gone, and she stopped posting just before your first post. BettaBum on another forum has the same avatar as you do, and is having the same problems with her females. Why the deception? Not careful deception, but still. Shame on you for not being honest.

What are you doing shipping a 2 1/2 year old fish that is not feeling well? This must be peanut butter above, since he matches the description and you said he's older. And in your first post as a "new member" you said you've been keeping fish for about a year. And he's 2 1/2?

^ If it is any consolation, I'll be personally picking up Peanut Butter myself when I get back from Montana so he does not have to undergo shipping stress. I know he is old and beat up, but I am used to fish like that at my rescue, and would like to give him a nice 'retirement.'

Why do people stoop to such levels of deception ? Is it really worth it ? Do they really think no one will put 2 & 2 together and get 4 ?

Bettabum or Bettadreams. . . whoever you choose to be today, it's unfortunate that you have to result to lying to get ppl to adopt your bettas.

I would suggest to the folks that are upset that she's doing this - to buy her stock and maybe, just maybe she'll grow-up. And stop collecting bettas like they're candy.

Well, how's that for a nice surprise? I came here to say that I won't be able to take any bettas, as I've slept on it and realized that I really have no more room. So sorry.

Woah now, I wasn't trying to decieve anyone, I just wanted to start fresh on here, thats all. New name, new identity. And I don't collect bettas like candy, I really do love them, its just that sometimes I go over board, no self control, and get to many. I understand how u guys feel about ur fish, I feel that way about my horses. But like i said I wasn't trying to decieve anyone I just wanted to start over. But I have decided that my lovley boys will stay here, I'll make it work somehow. If someone approches me about adopting one, then maybe I'll consider it, but I'll have this thread deleted.

Oh, come on. "I wasn't trying to deceive anyone". Give me a break. That really bothers me. I wish I had quoted your entire first post in this thread before you deleted it. It is deceit when you flat out lie to everyone "I'm new to the forum" is a lie. And lying is deceitful. You can't even try to say its not.

EDIT: I hope they don't delete the thread for you. I don't like to think they'd help you with your attempts to pull the wool over our eyes, as the saying goes.
