A Quick Word Of Warning About Aquamas.

I think you should have a word with aquamas if your regulators knackered, that along with them sending you a empty canister would please anyone.

Yeah, that`s 5kg of CO2 dumped in to 60l in less than a week. Lucky there are no fish in there. I didn`t realise the regulator had failed first time round because I was running my CO2 dropper in the yellow. I guess I am going to have to cut back on my photoperiod and ferts until I can get a replacement.

Dave.

Bad luck i feel for you, Do you think that your original canister from aquamas was full when it arrived, now you know the regulator had failed?

Yes, I am pretty sure it was full when I received it. When I think back, it did feel quite heavy.

Another thing, when I use the regulator to adjust the outgoing pressure it does feel a little rough, like something is grating inside.

Thats really rotten Dave

I hope you get a replacement/refund out of them.
First the hose fittings and now this,

Could it be anything to do with being dropped/rough handling as per your cylinder handle ?

Peter

Just heard from my ex flatmates in liverpool that my aquamas syatem has arrived there rather than at my home i nottingham  . I must have forgot to change the delevery address on my ebay account. Gives me a excuse to go up and see them at least :friends:.

Good luck with yours. I am in the middle of an email conversation with Frank Masurek at the moment.

I can't even try mine, as my drop tester hasn't come and I don't want to kill my fish, plus I'm still going over the destructions as I don't want to mess it up connection wise.

Good luck with Frank.

Peter

Dave, I know how this feels... Same with mine however it was a leak between the reg and solenoid... Taped and thread locked, been perfect since!

Sorry to hear that ure regulators broken Dave  - as you say at least there were no fish in there. Your system must have taken a big knock in transport- even the handle on the co2 bottle was broken. Hopefully the rest of us wont have such bad luck.

Dave

This is the third day of Co2 and the bottle is empty just like Dave Spencer's

Dave, if you're on could you tell me what was done re Aquamas ?

and if you replaced a seal where was it ?

I'm fed up.
