I intend to paint (on the outside of course) the backgrounds and sides of my tanks in the breeding room.. (fish room)...

The options are:... A dark blue; A dark Green; or Black.... Which colour will show up the tiny fish the best??? (and of course... be presentable..i.e. look nice)

Also, should I paint the background and sides, or should I just do the background... I wanna paint them at the weekend. What do you suggest???

just the back and paint them black.

do the tanks have lights on them? your tanks only contain fish dont they - no ornaments or plants? Im trying to remember from pictures. I dont know if youd see many fish with a black background

This is an example of the green I'mm talking about... It will be bare tanks with no plants.

can you not get a light blue? like the blue in the backgrounds on some marine tanks you see about. if not id say the green, depending on how dark the blue is
